Chefs Kelly Yambor and Jeremy Diehl of Savannah’s Elizabeth on 37th
Chefs Kelly Yambor, along with her husband Jeremy Diehl, lead the kitchen staff at Elizabeth on 37th in Savannah. They have cooked for the James Beard House “Next Generation” series and have appeared in Chef Magazine, the New York Times and Gourmet Magazine.
Their Dish: Herb Glazed Georgia Shrimp with Low Country Hash and Corn Pudding
Cindy Jacobs, Golden Isles Native
Cindy was born and raised in the Golden Isles of Georgia. Throughout her high school and college years, Cindy could be found working at the Emmeline and Hessie Restaurant on St Simons Island where she developed her passion and skills for cooking, working for Flo Packard Anderson, a renowned regional chef and caterer. Cindy generously shares her love of cooking and entertaining with numerous charitable causes throughout St Simons and Sea Island.

Sallie Ann Robinson, Author, Speaker, Gullah Culture
Sallie Ann Robinson is a sixth-generation native of Daufuskie Island, South Carolina, renowned for her culinary expertise, entertaining presentations, and knowledge of southeastern United States Gullah culture. She is the author of Gullah Home Cooking the Daufuskie Way, and Cooking the Gullah Way, Morning, Noon, and Night.
Her Dish: Ol’Fuskie Fried Crab Rice
Damon Lee Fowler, Culinary Director of Kitchenware Outfitters Cooking School, Savannah
Damon Lee Fowler is a nationally recognized authority on Southern cooking and its history and the author of six critically acclaimed cookbooks, including A Celebration of the Cuisine of the Old South which was nominated for two Julia Child cookbook awards and a James Beard Foundation award.
His Dish: Oysters in Leek and Bourbon Cream Served w/ Lemon Pepper Hoe Cakes.
Bonnie Gaster, Tybee Island’s Own Seafood Diva!
Bonnie is a frequent Cooking Teacher for Kitchen Outfitters in Savannah. She is known throughout Savannah and the Islands for her entertaining skills and cooking expertise, especially with Coastal Georgia’s fabulous Seafood Bounty. Bonnie will not only inform you but entertain you as well.
Her Dish: Shrimp Creole – Tybee Style!
A tasting luncheon featuring each of the foods demonstrated as well as copies of all of the recipes is included!

Legend has it that Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, sprang forth from the sea on an oyster shell and promptly gave birth to Eros. Thus began the belief that oysters, harvested and consumed since Roman times, hold special aphrodisiacal powers. If you are a romantic and a lover of the tastes of the sea, join us for an Evening of Oysters & Wine at Marlin Monroe’s Surfside Grill where the world will be your oyster!
- Classic Oysters on the 1/2 shell – raw and steamed
- Fannie’s famous Oysters Rockafannie
- Tiger Oysters – lightly breaded and fried, served over tiger sauce with and topped with a remoulade
- Grilled Oysters, on the 1/2 shell in garlic butter with fresh parmesan and chive
- Confetti Oysters – topped with fontina cheese, applewood bacon and tri colored pepper confetti

The Tybee Wine Festival’s signature event – featuring tastings and samplings of international wine and morsels from favorite eateries on Tybee Island and nearby areas – set on the beautiful grounds of the historic Tybee Island Lighthouse. This event also features a live and silent auction and a limited edition 2013 Tybee Wine Festival glass.
